The genitourinary system, also known as the urogenital system, consists of the reproductive system and urinary system. In placental mammals, these systems are grouped together due to their proximity, common embryological origin, and shared pathways, and are sometimes imaged together.

Genitourinary pathology is a subspecialty of surgical pathology dealing with neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the urinary tract, male genital tract, and testes, though kidney disorders are generally within renal pathology.
